Cleaning house and more

Not only is the rain forcing to me stay inside today and clean the house...but it's got me bored out of my mind. So I have cleaned up my sidebars! I added and took away. Now if I could just get past the itch to chance the template again. Since I have 2 sidebars that means alot of work! I'm hoping some color changes here and there will be enough.
The kids are also cleaning house today. They have every single toy they own on their bedroom floor. There is something about being able to walk across the floor without stepping on a toy that I love and live for each day. After stepping on quite a few match box cars and blocks last night at 1am...the kids are lucky they still own them. Let me tell you those things hurt. Want to get back at someone just cover the floor in those things and have them walk on them.
I used to love summer time when I was a kid. Now? I can't stand it. Hubby's work schedule in the summer months is so hard on me and in turn becomes hard on the kids. That has to do with the fact that I can't take the car and go to the park anytime I want to. My goal is to make this the last summer ever that I'm car free because I can't take another hot summer day just sitting around the house. If that happens I swear I will end up commited to the hospital in a straight jacket because I would loose my mind for good if I have to do this again. Though it's not over until next month so who knows what may happen between now and then! I love the college schedule because they go back before the children do and that gives me more days for retail therapy and park therapy. Just get me there and I will be okay.

I can relate to stepping on matchbox cars~it hurts! I can also relate to summer being "off" schedule. Nothing seems normal and I mess my daily life routine all up. I can't wait for school to start. I like the changes on your blog~I am going to take your advice about mine and move it as soon as I find a chunk if uninterrupted time.

Thanks for stopping by! I think ec/sezwho team may be on to something! I never liked to ity bity cars... they were always under foot! I know how hard it is to be stuck at home... I think I am permanently insane due to too many summers alone with children!

They say 'look at the brighter side' and the brighter side is what you did with your sidebars. They are just fine. I want to change my layout too to something personalized but I don't have the budget for it yet. Sometimes I think of posting a wanted ad on my blog so someone may notice it and give it a free make over. Sigh!
Anyway, thank you for visiting Only in Silence and thank you for your comment. Hope to see you drop by again soon. Happy blogging! ;o)
