As I have talked about before I am a new driver. I am just learning how to drive. And I have at all costs avoided driving in town or through town. Yesterday morning I broke that and drove to town to the bank. I barely panicked so I thought today I would be able to drive to the store before going to the dentist to get doughnuts and chocolate milk for the kids for breakfast. I did good until the road I was planning on taking was closed so I had to go another way around which took me down a road i was trying to avoid...one of the main in town roads but I did alright. Even drove the other road through town which is even worse than the one I was trying to avoid cause it has red lights and stuff and people can be stupid. With one leg shaking like crazy though I was able to get through and even turned at a light which i thought someone would nail me at because no one pays attention but guess the idiots were not out yet! The drive to the dentist was good too. Though doing 70 mph in a 55mph zone is not a good idea. In my defense though I was going down hill and my foot was not even on the gas pedal ! Even a skunk tried to get in my way. I seen him and stopped and waited for him to cross the road. Sure someone beeped the horn at me because I was stopped but you know I would really prefer not hit Mr. Skunk. Beep all you want to but there was no way I was hitting a skunk. I drove back after the dentist back to the store to pick up milk which turned into getting something specail for lunch and dinner for the kids because they were so good while I was driving and while I was with the dentist.
So how did I make out?
With several x rays taken today I am going to have some teeth pulled. I have a few that need to come out now and a few that will come out. This includes my front top teeth. When all is said and done I will have partials. And a straight smile:) What more could I ask for? Sure I will be in pain each time I go back but in the end to have teeth that line up like they are suppose to is all I have ever wanted! As of now I go back next month but I could get called in sooner. Finally I have an end to imperfect teeth and you know I can't wait to get to the end. Pain is only a small factor between the starting line and the finish line! It was a good visit!
